Third Friday of each month, January 20, Noon – 2:00 p.m. Two bilingual (English/Spanish) workers, a Behavioral Health Support Specialist and a Family Resilience Specialist, will be doing outreach at the library. They connect with residents and community partners to identify and address health disparities and inequities. Their goal is to alleviate the impact of COVID-19 by focusing on behavioral mental health and food insecurity. They’ll collaborate and engage with residents, listen to their needs, and help address the barriers people face that impact their daily living that prevent them from living a happy, healthy, and satisfying life. They will provide resources, social support services, case management, and system navigation support. They’ll offer culturally appropriate services and trainings, provide resources to residents, and also provide tools needed to be happy, healthy members of the community.
12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
